The main webpage for Apple Valley High School was made by the creators of teamwebpage.com using the same system. The webpage allows multiple users easy access to editors and features that make updating the page simple. The website was an important part of the WASC process and its integration into daily school life is part of the WASC plan. Apple Valley High School currently has a six year clear accreditation.
The football team mainly uses their site for photo galleries. They have a parent take photos at games and upload them that night. Discipline is a core value for this team so text messaging is mostly aimed at changes to the schedule and reminders for release times to games. The contact form on this site gets a lot of use as parents often have questions.
Health Occupations Students of America is a California Partnership Academy at Apple Valley High School. Their site is primarily used to post event updates for parents and students. The biggest use for this site is as an information portal. Students and teachers use this page as a launchpad to the file manager, Google Docs, and homework assignments. Of course the text messaging feature is used frequently, and as you can see by the picture, the two advisors love sending in posts from their phones.
